THE SANCTITY OF LIFE

We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being. Abortion constitutes the unjustified and inexcusable taking of a unborn human life. Therefore, abortion is murder. We also reject the concepts of doctor assisted suicide, euthanasia, and any attempts to end one’s life. We are compassionate toward those who do indeed suffer physically and mentally, and urge our society to do all they can to ease their suffering, but we uphold God’s gift of life and seek to preserve it in ali its preciousness.

SEPARATION AND CO-OPERATION

We believe that fellowship is to be based upon obedience to the Word of God and adherence to clear and correct doctrine; therefore, we must separate from all churches and movements that deviate from the plain teaching of Scriptures. We do seek to co-operate with Bible-believing churches of like faith and order.

CIVIL GOVERNMENT

We believe that civil government is of divine appointment for the interest and good order of human society. Civil authorities are to be prayed for, honoured, and obeyed, except only in the things opposed to God’s Word; and that the church and state should be separate, the state owing churches protection and full freedom to live and practice their faith as outlined in Scripture.
